The Almsee is a mountain lake in the Upper Austrian part of the Salzkammergut in the municipality of Grünau im Almtal, at the northern foot of the Dead Mountains and is 589 m above sea level. A. The course of the Almsee is the Alm that drains over the Traun into the Danube.

Der Almsee ist ein Bergsee im oberösterreichischen Teil des Salzkammergutes im Gemeindegebiet von Grünau im Almtal, am Nordfuß des Toten Gebirges und liegt auf 589 m ü. A. Der Ablauf des Almsees ist die Alm, die über die Traun in die Donau entwässert.
