me and my big brother
Yesterday was my big brothers birthday. He is actually my brother in-law but we call him our big brother because that’s the role he plays in all our lives. He is our very first in-law, very first man to ask for the hand in marriage of a girl child in my fathers house. Ever since he came into our lives he has been a sweet big brother.
Ever ready to listen, offer advice, he is a big giver and that’s one quality about him I admire. He is the most lively, bubbly human on earth. He likes to party and is the life of any party he steps into. He is also one of the kindest and meekest human the earth has left. To be very honest, of all my in-laws he sure is my favorite. He takes personally anything that concerns me and is already ready to rescue me when or if ever I need rescuing.
He is not just a blessing to us but to everyone around him. This article is more like a tribute to him because he sure deserves a lot of accolades for being such an amazing human.
the school gave authorization to use the picture as we see fit
Yesterday being his birthday he launched his foundation. And he wanted to do something special to mark the launch. So we all joined him as he celebrated with the children of clevermind school for orphans and under privileged kids, Iyara Delta state
Mr Zion is the founder and inspiration behind the school. He is so dedicated to these children’s education I was so touched. Usually am not one that supports going to give to the needy and documenting it because to me I feel it’s demeaning and an invasion of their personal space even tho they don’t have the power to stop you.
This time around I was in awe of how amazing these kids were, you can actually see how much time and effort has been invested into their education and making them feel worthy of themselves. They had beautiful self lifting and self affirmative Mantras that made me tear up. I was so grateful on their behalf for the opportunity that was being given to them to learn and grow under the careful hands of men and women who are dedicated to their course.
You all needed to see these kids, they were amazing, so bright, so confident, and so sure of how bright their future will be. For kids who went from having no parents to love and look after them, to what I witness yesterday, I say the school is doing such great work. I was particularly blessed from just being in their midst. And no doubt my Husband and I would be going back there personally to pay them a visit. I enjoyed being in their midst. The children had the purest and genuine reactions to all we brought to them and gave to them. Their prayers and thanksgiving were everything.

I say it was a beautiful well spent time in their midst. I felt privileged to fellowship with them.
