It is fun to play games when you are on the winning side. While loosing does not seem much frustrating, when you get to learn something from the play. This week has been exciting all along. With some good news into the market, SPS has also been affected. Which is sort of good news for us all. Apart from all, lets play some game and enjoy it for the time being!
This week's Brawl season has been exciting for me. I was sort of excited and was eagerly awaiting for the results to come out. As it seems, I was sort of over-excited about this brawl. As I was expecting all win in this brawl. But seems like I will have to try again next time. As the odds were not really on my side.
I was sort of excited in this brawl. I am not sure what took place in my mind but I was indeed excited to see how things would turn out in the game plays. Which is why, I took some time before I got into the battle field. And this time, I played following the rules while properly utilizing them as much as possible.
Nothing extraordinary is happening out in here. I do not want to share much more details in here lol. But as a player of Splinterlands, I suppose you can verify, what is actually going in here and what would be the outcome of this gameplay.
This battle was sort of a crucial one. As per the ruleset of the game EQUALIZER, WANDS OUT, WEAK MAGIC, I had to come up with something which will help me in every round/attack. OWSTER ROTWELL seemed the best choice for me in this play. As I knew, what my opponent will come up with and this would be a wise defense. On every attack, I will create a back fire to the opponent. USUT was the best option for me as a tank, with high life and shield. And I selected other monsters based on their speed and abilities accordingly. Watch the game, you will like it! It was a close one.
This time it was all about, getting to utilize the right monsters with right placing. Since the Explosive weaponry was in place, I wanted to make sure everything gets into place. So I wanted to go out with ranged or magic attack in here. But I choose magic as the mana was also favorable with me in this play. Went out with hard hitting magic and even on sneak positions as well. With the additional shield from the summoner, it would give me an additional benefit. Seems like it worked out perfectly for me indeed.
Lets talk about this match a little. Since we are only able to match the battle with only melee attack monsters, I came up with my own army of opportunity monsters to make the best out of the game play. As you watch the match, I suppose you can see what I am talking about.
This battle was a perfect one. As I planned quite perfectly based on the rule set. With all melee attack having sneak abilities, I wanted to make sure, I have something quirky out in the back of the line up. Venari Knifer fills the position perfectly. And with additional martyr ability from Fungus Flinger, this card became quite the hero of the match. And with magic attack coming from the front line up, the opponent was probably taken much into a surprise. A perfect plan, I would say ;)
This time, battle field was with magic reflect and in addition earthquake rule upon me. So, I decided to go with, water splinter as I will get a shield advantage from earthquake and also the mana of the match was pretty high. So I was going with some high mana monsters which could come in handy for me. Seems like, my thought and placing of the monsters was indeed perfect for me to win in the battle field.
Well you can probably decipher what went wrong in this battle, by just looking at the image below. One women army did all the damage from the opponent. Damn, I need this girl ASAP in my cards collection. I lost this match and one card sure made the difference.
Well, overall this brawl was indeed a nice one to explore. I won 6 of the matches and lost one. I won 15 ish SPS and some merits. By which I bought a Gladius pack. I was sort of excited to see what would come from this pack but seemed like nothing good was awaiting there.
Before I wrap up the post, I would like to say, there are indeed much more to Splinterlands than just earning. As a player, if you can explore the game little dip, you will end up enjoying the time in here. Like I did in this brawl. There are much more things happening in Splinterlands unlike in other play to earn games. So explore, enjoy the game and build your empire in here.
