Good morning/evening Hive users....
I have been asking myself the question, "Is there any better place, than HIVE/Steem?". Well there are plenty of if's and but's in the question. Let me state some facts and be reasonable why I think the way, I think! If I am being honest, there are plenty of online portals, where a person may shine depending on their caliber. Some of those places are busting with people who are hoarding those platforms by their skills. So it does and will take a lot of time and approach to make something out of those places. Not that Hive is that easier but HIVE has its way out in certain aspects. Be that it may with different perks and activities HIVE and similar platforms are probably best suited for people like me and you.
I can not speak for others but from what I have witnessed over the past couple of years, trying to see a decent outcome for the efforts of mine via online was not so fruitful. In fact, I went into depression of sorts where I was not really facing/making any sort of decent result in terms of finance in my real life activities. Recession/connection etc was hovering my head that it was almost impossible to recover from the situation. But little did I know time changes for everybody, this phrase sounded awkward whenever I thought about it but as of now I do believe it with my heart & soul, that YOUR TIME WILL COME
As a content creator
Youtube was definitely my first choice, I tried it but like they say, there are certain issues which needs to be resolved if you want to see a decent ROI for your time and effort. HIVE as of now, can literally make changes in a content creators life in a massive way. Yeah, I know it will take some time for you gain something in here but do you think it will take much more time to get recognized than of other platforms like YOUTUBE. Well, you know the answer, I suppose. Please, do not get me wrong, Hive is a chance for many of us, the way how you use that chance is upto you.
Market Places
I tried out FIVER or platforms similar like that, to make use of those platforms and get something in return but tbh it was too much to take in for me. That does not mean people who are investing their time in Fiver or places like that are not making money/enjoying that site, I am just saying it did not worked for me. Probably because it was tough for me to see the perspective of those certain sites. Can not blame them as because if I was not rejected by those platforms I would not have been here. Who knows someday I might grasp onto something bigger, someday!
If you are still reading, than thanks a lot! Keep reading, it will be worth your time. I certainly can say, it is all about perspective. Some people find Facebook as their go to platforms, some are fan of Tik-tok , some are making money from these sites and they take these platforms seriously, while others BOOOOOOOO at them for not understanding the reasoning's behind them. I definitely do not want to point fingers at them or to their story. What I want to say HIVE is helping me NURTURE my abilities and see things regarding to social managements in a lot different way. And I am glad that is working our for me.
What worked for me, may not work for you!
Now this is the most important lesson that you need to acquire. At least I did take it in my mind, probably after a lot of fake attempts to follow others steps, even though they were not meant for me. HIVE is doing good for me, it may not for you. Steem is definitely not working for me but it may for you (although I doubt that). The same goes for other platforms. You should like what you are doing! You should LOVE what you are doing. Follow what your heart says. Follow your passion. If there is no working place for you at the moment, work hard or do double jobs or figure out a way. Once you are ready, go for your dreams.
There are plenty of other platforms which might be better than HIVE but so far HIVE has been my go to platform for me and I am thankful, I took HIVE seriously.
