There seems to be a good turnover in the crypto market today! BTC finally crossed 28k. Although it took a pull back little below 28k atm. But overall, for a Monday, it seems to be quite a positive start for the week. Lets move onto Splinterlands. As this is what matters to me atm. There are few aspects which I want to discuss today, to give some light to myself. That's because as the days are approaching, there are quite a lot of updates which are going to flow and it would probably make the overall situations go into quite a chaos (positively) in Splinterlands.
SPS is sitting at $0.014 while writing this post. DEC is sitting at $0.00068. In addition the card market has not been going up that much! So overall, I would say the market is currently going sideways or more precisely it went downwards after the lay offs announcements and currently it is going sideways. One positive news from the team can literally change the course of these tokens and NFT's. Anything positive could actually do it!
SPS, getting low as days are passing by. This is not a good news at all. Since, it is a governance token, it is indeed the highlight of the company and the game itself. Which is why, SPS should be given priority by the team. Needless to say, the team has a lot going on its plate atm. While things are undergoing to make the game keep on going. Which is why, more and more utilities are needed to make SPS, see the true color of itself.
DEC, itself is taking a beating. I am not sure what to imply at this point but things should start moving fast. We need adoption, we need cashflow, we need users. DEC is supposed to be at pegged value. But the condition that has raised, it will probably take some time for itself to reach its pegged value.
The image below is the ss of DEC: BUSD pool in pancakeswap. As you may see, the overall volume may not be that much but the sell volume of DEC is higher than buyers. The market sentiment is slowly going out of hands.
The one update that we have been waiting upon is LANDS. This could change the game for certain. It is like as if it will come as a savior of the game. Almost everything will take a hit once Lands comes into play. Some literal changes which will somehow affect the tokens/NFT's of the game :
Without DEC, a user will not be able to take the benefit from Lands. Which will definitely increase the value of DEC, making it rise towards its pegged value. This is bound to happen. Since, we have seen in the past what actually happens, when Splinterlands releases something new into the game. Although, a huge amount of DEC needs to be purchased in order to make this much difference in its price. But I suppose we have some crazy investors and players in the game who can do wonders when it comes to splinterlands.
Once DEC reaches its pegged value or little over that, there comes SPS burning. It's because there would be an opportunity to grab some DEC. This will open the opportunity to make arbritrage across different pairs. Which not only will make SPS get a sink but also there would be a rush to buy SPS in order to make some profit from a trade. Which is why at this moment taking DEC to its pegged value is one of the most important priority to achieve.
Once the land phase comes out in the game, it will also consume substantial amount of cards into it. Which will not only make the cards go off the market, but it will also enhance the scarcity of the cards. Resulting a price impact in the cards that we own. Overall, there is a lot which is coming into play in the next couple of weeks. Once Land comes into play we are going to get quite a lot of impact in almost everything that we own in Splinterlands.
With the current market condition, this is not really a very good time to get listed in any popular exchanges. In the coming months there are lots of upcoming news with could potentially life the market in a very good way. That period could be a wise move to get listed into CEX.
Which is why, this is a very crucial period that we are passing by! Once this phase is over and we get to see the upcoming updates coming into the game play, it will be more than interesting to our assets. As of now, I would rather hold onto my assets and keep on accumulating as we speak.
