It feels like as if I am on the battle field! Facing my opponents with countless abilities. I must attack or else I would be dead in no time. I am making my soldiers ready, to make them step into the battle. One by one my soldiers are attacking the enemy, making them bleed and slowly making them approach towards death. Likewise, there have been battles where I and my soldiers slowly dived towards death!
These actions and reactions, have been happening almost everyday in my life. Yes, I am talking about the game Splinterlands. Playing the game, made me realize, I am gradually getting addicted to it. Which in a way is quite surprising, coming from my POV. But than again, it was the destiny after all.
There has been attempts made by me, where I felt quite aggressive after the result of a match, since I was not able to win the game, due to my foolishness. Which allowed me to loose even more along the next few matches. Since I lost my cool, hence I paid the price. Well, the winning of the game does plays the opposite affect out in here.
There are couple of matches which gives the vibe of being awesome in the battle field. Those moments feels like this is it, I am the bozzz! It does not happen that often but once it does it just makes the day! I got a battle similar to this, where I found almost everything in this battle. Last Strand, Bloodlust, Martyr, Swiftness and even I was on the verge of defeat but the scenario changed completely after the match.
Pre-peration!The match was of 44 mana cap with the rule set of opportunity. As soon as I saw the rule set, I wanted to try out some strategy of mine. Which I have been longing to try for quite some time! Since, all monsters will have the opportunity ability, I wanted to give try to the martyr ability. As my opponent will waste no time in attacking the lowest monster which will trigger the martyr effect on my monsters and will add some additional benefits to my adjacent monsters. As the battle will be of opportunity, I wanted to have the upper hand. I choose JACEK which seemed perfect for me in this battle.
I choose Flameblade due to few reasons. As it had Void, Void armor which will have less damage from my opponent also it has several shield which will help me from all the melee attacks to come to it. And not to forget about the Bloodlust ability. Next arrived V.Marksrart with martyr ability. Once it is dead, it will trigger additional perks to Flameblade and my next monsters Countess Sinach. It already has swiftness, which will add additional speed to my monsters. An ultimate tag team with Jacek summoner.
Later arrived Spirit hoarder, as I wanted a monster which would heal in few rounds to help my monsters get away with few damages in battles. Next in line was Sharlock holmes. Well my bad he is Charlok Minotaur with 10 health and 3 melee attack. I choose this monsters since lots of attacks are going to be taken from all across the field if it comes to this stage at least it will have few extra lives to handle the hell fire from the opponent.
Last but not the least, Blood maker! I just did not wanted to leave the field empty I could have chosen any other monster but 3 ranged attack seemed best for me during the time of selection.
During the last round, I felt like with last strand, my opponent was going to make the final blow. But as you can see in the battle my Flameblade and Sinash was a perfect combo during the whole battle. Although, if my opponent has higher level monsters than the scenario would have been a lot different out in here. But I suppose, speed plays a vital role in a match and this time it was on my side.
My strategy worked very smoothly and I was able to win the match at the end. I am loving the game so far lol! As long as I am winning I suppose! But need to get better as time pass by!
