What is expected with SPS and upcoming Changes in Splinterlands

I often talk about SPS tokens in the game and sometimes DEC as well. It is because I have been chasing my goal for SPS in the game and I believe that this is one of the tokens that will be much more valuable in the ecosystem. We got to know that soon there will be a change that will require more SPS tokens for the players to be able to play in higher leagues. People had different opinions about this change whereas some people said that this is not a good change for the team bringing in the game and at the same time people have the opinion that this will add more value to the SPS token in the long run. I believe that everyone is right at their place because no change in the game can make everyone happy so it is obvious that people would have different opinions.

Expectation with SPS

The expectation with the SPS token is high I believe from the community side so it's also important that we bring some change that can make it more valuable. This is the same token that was traded once at the price of almost $1.00 and now it is not even three cents which means the majority of holders are selling off to book the profit. It always happens when people have bigger holdings then they keep on selling far-profit bookings but if this continues for a long then it might be difficult to grow the token economy. It is obvious that if there is a lot of selling pressure then we cannot expect the price appreciation at the same time hence the team is trying to bring the use case which requires everyone to have some SPS in the game account.

Earlier I had the goal to accumulate the token because of the nice APR but now since it is going to be a requirement in the game so with this I will change my goal accordingly. I expect that the token will be much more valuable in the coming years and the current price is not at all a problem for me. Even if the value goes down then also there is nothing to worry about because the higher probability for the token to reach at least $0.05 then getting back to the zero value. It might be hard to say as of now but I believe the price is already at the bottom I'm from here the probability is only to go up however a slight fluctuation can be seen depending upon the market sentiment.

More Use cases will bring more value

it is one of the most used terms in the market and with the increased use case we can expect a better token value on the project hence it is expected to have a decent use case for the token in the game ecosystem. Having more Use cases in the project means it will increase the demand and as a result, we can see better pricing for the token in the market since it will also reduce the selling pressure. We have seen our year-long token distribution for the community so it is obvious that people have made a good amount of money and even many must be selling now because they might not be interested in the long-term growth of the token. With the upcoming use case that we are going to have in the next quarter it is expected that the token value will increase so now is a good time to fill the bags before it's late to buy.

My SPS Holding

my goal was to have 30,000 SPS in total which was completed two months back but now I am revisiting my holding to figure out how much I need to add to the balance. Currently, it is more than 32,000 but this is not enough for the plan which I have. I want to play in the gold league and I need at least 58k SPS to be there so I need to double my holding.

Although I have not yet decided soon I will figure out how I want to achieve the milestone whatever is needed for me to play in the gold league. Maybe I can say that I need to double my holding before the change is implemented in the game so that there is no impact on my battle experience along with the reward that I am expecting with the gold league. I also believe that it's a fair ask by the game from all the players to maintain the SPS holding according to which they will be rewarded in the game. People who are holding the SPS token in bigger quantity need not worry about it because they are ultimately part of the higher league but the players who are not availing would try to build a better holding in the game.

I believe that currently, the game is going through a significant transformation where we are aware that multiple things are coming up. With the upcoming changes we can expect a next level of excitement in the game and that is what might add more value to the game as well as in multiple factors which might also involve many new players coming to experience the game.
