It's important to join the Splinterlands Town Hall and if for any reason you can't join then also going through the update helps. This helps us to understand what is planned to build and even about the upcoming updates in the game. I have gone through the post for the town hall and there is one of the important updates about the SPS Delegation.
Splinterlands is going to enable SPS Delegation in the game and this can be a bigger change in the game. We have been given the option to power of SPS and this power can be used to vote for proposals that can be in favor of it or even against the proposal. They are also planning to replace the collection power with an SPS stake and I believe with that option they are also going to launch the SPS delegation which means if someone is not using the power then it can be delegated to another player. I hope it will work the same way that we use the delegation in the hive power.
I still have some questions about it and do not know how it will work in the game because if they are going to replace the collection power completely with SPS holding then what will happen to the value of cards from the older editions? Also, are they going to provide an option for SPS delegation where people can earn some reward if they delegate their SPS power?
Overall this is going to add more value to the use of SPS in the game I believe and it is also going to push more demand for SPS which is good for the token economy. More demand for SPS means the price can appreciate and this is what we expect to happen soon. SPS is anyways valuable token in the game and we cannot ignore its existence and potential which is very high but the current price is just because of the market impact that we are in a bear market.
I expect that with this update, more people will start accumulating spheres as they know that in the long term, it is going to bring many many friends, and holding a bigger chunk of SPS will be a good idea now as the price is low. I have already accumulated 30k sps tokens but I am not sure what League I will be given based on my holding and if is it still needed for me to add more SPS so that I can play in higher Lee as I play in silver as of now.
I am looking forward to seeing how this delegation mechanism will work in the game and what changes we are going to see in the next few days. The team has already announced that they are going to bring it in the next couple of weeks which means in this quarter we are going to habit and then we will get to see how the game becomes even better and what sort of excitement we can see with the players for the game.
There are many things planned whereas some promotional cards are also expected in the next humans but one card will be launched on the 1st of May as per the town hall update. The details have not been shared by the team but I hope you should be out soon. State what you want as there is a lot that we are going to see in this quarter and hopefully, this will add more fun and excitement to the game this quarter.
