It's been more than 1 year and the community has been waiting for updates related to lands but it was not happening. Today seems a good day for the community as the team has shared an update related to lands. Finally, we can see some action happening on this, and looks like we are going to use it soon. It has taken time for sure but it is okay as now the team seems to be cleared and bringing things on the ground. Earlier they must be busy with various other things and now they are focusing to add more value to existing things in the game which I find a good strategy by the splinterlands. I still remember that when they reduced their manpower that time they mentioned that now they will be working more on the development side.
I believe the bear market is a good time for development and seems like splinterlands had started doing the same. When the market is in a better position which we can call a Bull run then almost everyone is busy making money and development is not a priority for most of the communities in the crypto space. Now this time when the prices are on the lower side of the market then I believe it is a good time to build so that more people can be part of the heat and later when things grow then also it can contribute to the faster development of the overall ecosystem.
I have some plots which I think will be a good addition and I am not sure how I will be able to use them but I will learn for sure.. during this time when the prices are on the lower side for most of the cards in the game and I am trying to make my gaming deck bigger.
It was the right decision I believe when I purchased some plots without even knowing what will be the use case in the future. I did it just because I trust the team and know that the project is going to grow a lot. Although I was new in the game still I like the way this team works and because of this eye invested my money in the game. Currently, that plot costs much more than what I had paid in the beginning so I am very happy with my decision to early invest in the game.
Those who are waiting for the updates related to lands in the game must be attention to the post published by the team today and I am sure they will be many more updates coming in soon. As I already mentioned that I need to learn how I will delight my plots in the game and what benefit I can generate out of it. While there are so many assets in the game that we can own and buy at a low price these days but I think SPS is still one of the best investments that one can do without thinking match. Needless to say that the investment must be done for the long term because if someone is investing for us then this is not the right platform for him.
I expect that more people will be investing in the game after the lands go live. I have more than 17000 SPS tokens in my account and I accumulate them every day to build my SPS stake. I hope that I will be able to make it 18000 soon and I also need to buy more to make it 20000 in total which is my next goal in the game. I had a good amount of liquid tokens in my game account that I deposited just now and with this, I hold almost 18000 tokens in total.
I am working here for the long term and I expect that after 45 years things will be grown and that will be the time when I can be happy with my decision of investing in the blockchain-based game. This segment is growing and hardly one percent of people are aware of it but I expect they will be many more people joining in the coming years which will make it grow and even bring more awareness among people to know and experience the play to earn gaming.
