After the very peculiar week I've had, I should have known something awesome and unexpected would happen.
It has randomly worked out that I had 2 nights alone in a house full of kitties.
I've looked after puppies before, but I've never had the opportunity to look after kittens, until this weekend.
So what did I learn?
I took more than 50 pics and vids in the first hr of arriving.
And no, I don't think I have a problem :P
Luckily, being a mother, I have plenty of experience dealing with poo, so it did not faze me.
No pics of the the poop. Sorry to disappoint.
I have no idea if all cat moms are this awesome, but the one I had the pleasure to observe this weekend, was an absolutely amazing mother.
And I made sure I told her that :)
I had to do some pretty daunting internal tasks this weekend, the presence of all these awesome kittens helped me cope so much.
Unplanned experiences like these really remind me of the beauty of life, with all its surprises, twists and challenges.
Super grateful to end the week with solitude, lots of moments of peace and stillness, and lots of kitty love.
So many cuddle puddles...
Cats are awesome.
