This contest was initiated by @emjoe. He’s celebrating his 100 days on Steemit and wanted to start this contest to mark the event.

I met emjoe when we were in the recess/playground preparing for entry into #thealliance. Emjoe is a wonderful helpful person who donates to his home country as much as he can.

My Most Cherished Moment On Steemit

My dear friend Liz @deadgrlsuppastar introduced the Steemit link on Facebook. It looked interesting and Liz had purchased a new camera with the income she earned from the site.

This Steemit was up my alley ~ to be doing something I loved and maybe a little monetary reward. I applied and after a couple days was accepted.

At first it was only Liz, her hubby @awesomemike and @bornprince who showed support but eventually I ran into like-minded people like @debralee, @deerjay, @andysantic48, @mineology, to name a few.

1 - The first Aha moment was seeing on Steemit the usernames of friends I had connected with on the former TSU site ~ @trudeehunter, @icybc, @michellereneekid, @ninahaskin and @shaunf were my first connections.

The TSU site was paying a few cents for photos and most added a few lines with the photos.

No one was going to get rich but TSU was like a big family. I spent a lot of time on the site. Out of the blue, TSU suddenly went dark. This meant everyone’s hard work was lost in the vast vaccum of the internet.

Shocked and saddened with the lost of daily interaction, many former Tsuivians turned to other pay-to-view sites and filled the gap using Facebook. It was a cherished moment for me to reconnect to the #tsufamily on Steemit.

2 - My next cherished moment in the Steemit community was being accepted into #thealliance headed by a wonderful caring individual @enginewitty. It has the family values I cherish, where each member is appreciated and support for one other is paramount.

A future Aha moment would be to test the digital currency waters on Steemit and build up steem ~ that’s a long way down the road!

I’m happy with the friendship and support of the fabulous people here. They make my most cherished moments on Steemit!
