Cats love the heat and on cold winter days I worry about the strays that have no cozy fireplace to keep them warm like my two spoiled lovelies.
There have been a couple, possible strays, cats coming around but they take off if anyone approaches them. Hopefully their coat of fur will keep them warm enough when the temperature dips. Sometimes they can find barns or old abandoned buildings for shelter. Barns are great places for cats as they keep the mice and rats under control.
Sunday cat loves to lie on the tile by the wood stove. The tiles stay nice and warm when the fire is going.
