My entry to
An early morning horseback ride by a young woman on a narrow path in the forbidden forest humoured to be haunted by an angry green troll.
As the rising sun brightens the forest, she leads her horse along the narrow path. Surprised to see a lake, she stopped to let the horse have a drink of water.
The woman is unaware a crow has been following and watching her since she and her horse entered the forest. He is a shapeshifter and send a message to the green troll that someone is invading the forest and drinking from the sacred water.
The crow laughed heartily knowing the message will not set well and the green troll will be livid with rage.
The angry green troll has warlock magic to change the directions of the forest paths, leaving unsuspecting travellers lost in the beautiful forest....
Will the sacred water sprites be able to help the young woman and her horse find their way home again?
(
The water sprites passed the test of worthiness and the magic cauldron was left to them by the Tuatha de Danaan (of Irish mythology). When the cauldron is filled with water and a stick is circled around the rim to make it sing, the future can be revealed by looking into the water in the cauldron.
The water sprites are not visible to the woman and once she gets captured by the Troll she must find a way to summon for help.
The young woman touched the sacred water while her horse drank therefore the sprites can see in the cauldron what is unfolding in her life.
Will they help her and her beautiful horse escape from the troll?....Is their magic from the cauldron stronger than the dark magic of the Troll?....
