Many folks are getting out and walking or biking now that the weather has finally turned beautiful on my little island.

At present the virus is under control and shops are starting to open. People are out and about and mindful of the social distancing.

Many walkers have a dog, big or small, with them.

I met this greyhound on the Confederation Trail. He was taking his keeper for a walk. They seemed to cast a nice shadow.

This is my selection for the Shadow Contest.

The well-mannered greyhound was originally from Alabama, U.S. He has been with his devoted keeper about seven years and says he is a great pet. The keeper agreed and said they go for a walk nearly every day.

Another dog leading his keeper who was having a hard time keeping him under control.

The dog looked like he might attack but he is just young and rambunctious. His keeper kept him on a short leash and said the dog was excited to see other dogs and wanted to play.
