Great Blue Heron
Here the beautiful Great Blue watches the world go by from a branch in the pine tree. It’s not often I see one in a tree. They are usually walking along in shallow water hunting for a meal or flying above me.
Goose and A Gaggle
A Canadian goose strolling along the shore while watching another goose swimming in the bay.
A group of geese on land are referred to as a gaggle.
Gravestones
These ancient gravestones are part of the St. Margaret Of Scotland Pioneer Cemetery.
600 burials are listed and this cemetery is a genealogical site for many who can trace their Scottish roots back here.
Restoration was started here in 2008. Many of the old gravestones could not be repaired and are laid flat on the ground.
This peaceful, beautiful historic resting place, on Bear Shore Road, P.E.I., is within sight of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, seen in the background.
These pictures I took a few years ago when Hubby and I went on a sight-seeing adventure one Sunday. I was amazed at the peace and love radiating when I walked on the grounds.
Greyhound
A gracious, graceful, grateful greyhound I encounter while out for a walk. Try to say that sentence fast.:)
These former racing dogs are said to make great pets. This one is well behaved and devoted to his master.
Green
I’m not sure of the name of this green leafed plant growing in my garden. I call it motherwort. The leaves are full and a nice shade of green. Later in summer tiny white flowers appear.
G for Grouch
The branch of this felled tree made me chuckle as it certainly looked like an angry grouch yelling at someone.
The shape of the what’s left of this tree seems to fits the definition of an unhappy and grumpy person.
