Estimados hivers, les quiero seguir mostrando aspectos de la naturaleza que observo desde mi ventana. Se trata de algunos de los pájaros que viven en las áreas verdes de mi urbanización y que he podido captar con mi cámara.
Al primero que les muestro, en Venezuela se le llama Cristofué, porque en su canto parece emitir esa palabra en forma repetida e insistente. Se le conoce por otros nombres como Pitofué, Bichofeo o Bienteveo.
Especie de ave Paseriforme de la Familia Tyrannidae. El nombre de la especie es Pitangus sulphuratus
Se alimenta tanto de frutas, como de insectos y lagartijos.
La siguiente ave es una tortolita ( Columbina sp.) del Órden Columbiformes ( forma de paloma). Se alimenta en el suelo comiendo semillas e insectos.
¿Quién no ha visto los famosos canarios? , en este caso se trata del Canario de Tejado (Sicalis flaveola), muy común en los espacios urbanos.
Se alimentan de semillas preferiblemente en el suelo y andan en pareja.
Un ave parecida a un Tordo apareció una vez en mi patio, aunque no he podido identificarla
Los azulejos también son muy conocidos, una vez logré captar a una pareja alimentándose sobre un árbol de mandarinas. Se trata de Azulejos de Jardín cuyo Género es Thraupis
También llegan a nuestro parque, entre otros pájaros, Golondrinas azul y blanco, Colibríes, Pájaros Carpinteros y otras especies pequeñas difíciles de captar.

Tiles are also well known, I once managed to capture a pair feeding on a tangerine tree. These are Garden Tiles whose Genus is Thraupis.
Also arriving at our park, among other birds, are Blue and White Swallows, Hummingbirds, Woodpeckers and other small species difficult to capture.
