We introduce our advisor Lee Min-hwa who is also a professor of KAIST. In 1985, Prof. Lee Min-Hwa founded Medison Co., Ltd., the first venture company in Korea, which is now a global medical device company.

Based on the experience, he established more than 30 companies and reached 70% of Korea’s medical device exports.
In 1999, he established the KOVA (KOrean Venture Association) and passed the special law for venture companies. Also he established KOSDAQ (KOrea Securities Dealers Automated Quotation), bench marketing NASDAQ, and introduced technology guarantee system and stock option system in Korea.
He basically laid the groundwork for venture companies in Korea.
Professor Min Hwa Lee recently emphasized that the essence of the blockchain is the ‘technology of trust’ in his column. He expects that blockchain will open a new paradigm, taking the role of distribution in the unique platform that the fourth industrial revolution will bring about.
