(Unfortunately, IRS wasn't part of it...)

WWE's Raw and Smackdown Live brands had their first week of trades this last week. While some weren't even given the chance to fight on the shows, quite a few of these were surprising and looks to have great potential. Here are a few of my thoughts:

Chad Gable - Jason Jordan got a good storyline and character from last year's move to Raw. His partner, meanwhile, hasn't had much chance to show off more character work. Here's hoping Gable gets himself over.

Rusev Day - I really want a huge face run for Rusev on RAW. Hopefully, he and Aiden English stay as a unit as they both complement each other very well. I hoped for a Rusev vs. Samoa Joe feud, but Joe went to Smackdown.

Samoa Joe - lots of great potential fights here, provided Joe stays injury free. AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, Jeff Hardy... Love it!

Miz - A Miz vs Daniel Bryan feud is the great moneymaker for Smackdown. I hope they keep the Miz away for a while, so Daniel Bryan can keep chasing him.

Asuka - the Empress is on Smackdown! Awesome combination of her, Becky, and Charlotte to make an awesome women's division! Not to mention feuding with the Iconic Duo.

Sanity - the NXT team callup is a great addition to the roster. I'm hoping they do a great feud with New Day.

I have other thoughts, but they're wait and see. The moves of Jinder Mahal, Big Cass, Absolution, the Club, and Dolph Ziggler didn't excite me. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are on a roll, but I wonder if their move to Raw will hurt their momentum. Same goes with Cesaro and Sheamus, though I must admit that I'm hoping this leads to a Cesaro singles run when Sheamus eventually takes a break.

What are your thoughts on the shakeup?
