So with Wrestlemania a week away, a facebook group I frequent posed a fun challenge to come up with our weird booking wishlists. Here are some of mine:
Finn Balor wins the IC belt with Balor Club help. In the main event, Roman Reign's celebration is interrupted by Balor Club beating him down. Seth comes to help but they're overwhelmed. Further beat down. Cue Dean Ambrose.
Alexa Bliss loses the Women's title to Nia. Braun feels sorry for her and makes her his tag team partner so he can "get her a new belt."
Daniel Bryan's partner Shane McMahon can't make it. Daniel had to pull a few strings to find a partner for his match against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. Cue Samoa Joe's music. (Someone commented Chris Jericho would be a better partner and I agree given his history witg KO.)
Rey Misterio appears at the end of the Roman Reigns/Brock Lesnar match to formally challenge new champion Reigns. Reigns laughs and tells him to bring it. Rey starts to walk down the ramp but stops and signals that he's not the one challenging. Suddenly, Ricochet attacks Reigns from the crowd. Rey announces the start of Aztec Warfare and Pentagon Jr, Fenix, Drago, Aerostar, Kalisto, Gran Metalik, etc. all appear to take out the locker room.
Cut to a scene of the backstage where Dario Cueto and the monster Matanza break down the Authority's office and declares that they're taking over...
- The Andre the Giant Battle Royale is scheduled as the second to the last match. Woken Matt Hardy interrupts the start of the match to bring out Vanguard 1 and announce that he will initiate Rebirth Protocol! The ring glows with funky effects and he shouts that he has brought the magic of the Lake of Reincarnation to everyone! Cue a big flash and everyone in the ring disappearing, leaving a laughing Woken Matt Hardy the winner.
Over the next couple of months, all the battle royale participants are reintroduced into the WWE in classic or Rebirthed gimmicks.
