RAW's 25th anniversary is this week and it looks like they're pulling out all the stops for this one. I'm excited to see who makes an appearance and what moments they will try to create.
NXT Takeover is on Saturday. I haven't kept up much with the recent NXT product, but the last Takeover had a few fun matches. Aleister Black vs. Adam Cole is the most anticipated one, even probably more than the NXT championship match between Cien Almas and Johnny Gargano. Takeovers have rarely been disappointing, and there are no major signs this will be the case for this one.
And finally, the Royal Rumble. 30 men try to take out each other, over-the-top rope, in a battle royale for the number one contendership for their brand's title. And this year, 30 women will also compete in a Royal Rumble match, marking the first time in history this has happened. Plus, the championship matches featuring Brock Lesnar/Kane/Braun Strowman and AJ Styles/Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn sound awesome on paper. Definitely hope this is a fun show.
