NXT Takeover New Orleans was the better show this past weekend. All of the matches were emotional and action-packed. Here are a few of my thoughts...
The six man ladder match was awesome. It was fun seeing Prince Puma, er, Ricochet still be allowed to pull off some amazing moves. Velveteen Dream has also been amazing (and to think he's only 22)! He's probably my wife's favorite wrestler right now.
Adam Cole (baybey!) is heading up an awesome faction and I can't wait until he goes after Aleister Black's belt just so they can have the complete set.
Shayna Bazler popping her shoulder back by smashing it against the ring post was an awesome imagery.
I thought Gargano vs Ciampa started off too slow and methodical, but once it went past the halfway mark, I was riveted. Gargano hesitating from using the broken crutches to stab his former friend was the best face drama I saw this year.
