A popular reddit post broke today on the QAnon forum detailing possible new leads related to the former Democratic IT-aides still under federal investigation who worked for Debbie Wasserman Schultz and dozens of other congresspeople. The post references Q post #1098 which mentions Awan, "Dig. Social media contacts? Worked for WHO? ACCESS level? Find ALL pics. Bigger than you know. One example of many. AWAN. Q." The crowd sourced investigation has found a profile of someone else with the same name Imran Awan, that does not appear to be the same person as the former Democratic staffer; the post also highlights a photo-shopped image of a Jamal Awan, pictured in a framed photo behind Prime Minister Erdogan in Turkey.
The post has received a large amount of upvotes in the few hours since it's been posted, and could interfere with finding more valid Awan related clues or other important leads tied to the Q post. QAnon, the alleged high-level government insider who has posted cryptic clues over the past several months recently received increased mainstream media coverage from the CIA backed Washington Post earlier this week, with some believing this could be the start of an intentional wave of disinformation. I will continue to follow Q and the Awan case, but I encourage everyone to beware of possible disinformation now that the mainstream media has gotten involved.
