The project got this much audience when it started launching testnets, especially during the time when testnet airdrop tasks were trending. Lately in crypto a lot of people have been investing their time on testnents trying to be active and earn rewards. The SUI testnet was one of the most tasking testnets I have ever done, mainly because, activities on the testnet were cleared in a periodic pattern. There are a lot of potential upcoming projects that are building on the SUI network and are looking forward to launch soon as soon as the mainnet launches. I did the SUI tasks non stop hoping for an airdrop, but unfortunately the team announced they won’t be any incentivised reward for the testnet. We all thought it was a joke, until the tokenomics was released. I started believing the no airdrop statement when every Sui wallet was reset and our wallet addresses changed to a different one.
For a moment the SUI community was angry as we learnt that there would be no airdrop for all the testnet task that was done on the testnet and the devnets. But then the team decided to come with an ICO activity but for Lomita people. Which gave the community a little hope, but for how long? Ever since the Sui mainnet launch date announcement, I can’t help but try to think of project’s future and expectation. Will the project be a progress? Well, one thing I know for sure is that they have a large community some dedicated upcoming projects, so yeah I have some expectations. The Aptos blockchain was quite a success with a surprising pump that gave 3X, are we going to see something similar with SUI? Who knows?
