I saw this post on Twitter and for a second my head clocked in and thought of how good the idea might be. But before I tell you let’s do some calculations, this person said they have been spending $10 everyday since 2021 to buy $10 of the worst performing coin on CoinMarketCap. The post says they have added 365 coins to their portfolio that is, they have spent $3650 in 365 days buying the worst performing coins.

Now this seems like a very good idea, because we have noticed over time that during the bull run, coins that have being underperforming for years suddenly gets noticed and then starts performing really good. For instance, a token that was at $16 all time high in 2021, is at $0.13 right now, if you buy $10 worth today, and it does back to the $16 all time high in future, your $10 investment would be $1,230 in the future. But we all know that all those 365 coins won’t perform handsomely at once. Some will over perform, some will keep underperforming, and some will go to literal $0 with no hope of recovering.

I think this is only a good idea if this person focused more on coins that have utility than memecoins. If this person did this for memecoins and added memecoins to their portfolio then I am sorry their portfolio has no future it’s going to keep going down and they are going to lose almost all their money. So in my opinion, this act is a good act for coins that have utility but underperforming. Lastly let’s not forget that over diversifying is not always good.
