Hive is currently the only true Web 3.0 platform we have in the crypto space, if you have spent your time searching through other decentralised platforms to find something like Hive, then you should know what I am talking about. Hive is extremely underrated, we know that, and it can be annoying sometimes, but if you think deep into it, you will observe some little similarities between Hive’s progress and the progress of bitcoin.

I asked myself, why is Hive unique and currently the best Web 3.0 platform we currently have? First of all, to create a complete Web 3.0 decentralised platform without the involvement of Venture capitalist, investors, CEOs and absence of premine, its going to be very difficult. This is because, its only few people out there that are developing on the blockchain because they want to improve lives, most people are developing because they want to make profit. But on Hive, we have true people building on the blockchain based on passion and belief on the blockchain. Just like we have satoshi develop the bitcoin blockchain without taking any profit, then handed it over to the community, if anyone wants to do that currently, they will need liquidity to give the tokens of the blockchain a value.

This means they will have to invest their own personal money for liquidity so people can trade the tokens and when people get rewarded the token, it will happen, we are seeing that happening on Hive engine tokens occasionally. This is because, in my own understanding or personal opinion, Hive was able to create liquidity because they forked off the steem blockchain, so it was easier for the liquidity in steem to be transferred from steem to Hive, that is for the ones that wanted to migrate though. So value was added, and eventually, tradings occurred over time, which made the token sustain its value.

But most platforms are not willing to do this because it will seem like a loss to them, what will they be benefiting if they make it completely decentralised, thereby having no power on the blockchain even though they built and developed it. Imagine if they did build it, through the decentralised governance of token holders they can kick the developers out, if they don’t want them to keep being a witness or node validators on the blockchain.

A CEO with power on the Hive Blockchain is ready to invest a lot of money to make sure the blockchain because a massive success, because they don’t want to see their project fail. They can do this through massive marketing, which is something we are not seeing on HIve. There are a lot of development going on Hive, but no marketing, that is why. The price value is low, but not for long, Hive is just 2 years old. Time will tell and it will be the most valued Web 3.0 platform in the world.
