Seeing people achieve their goals is really motivating, because it makes us wish we can work as hard as them to achieve ours too. Although achieving your goal is not necessarily working so hard like we think, its just all about being at the right place at the right time. But being at the right place at the right time involves taking risks to get you there. Some people got to where they are because they never stopped taking risks and that prepared them and put them where they saw the opportunity, they took it and that changed their lives. I made a post few days ago about The 100 million check showing how far people are willing to go to achieve their goals as long as they see the vision.

Purpose, passion, vision and belief in your goal are one of the attributes I think one should have in order to achieve their goal, if I have a purpose, vision and belief in whatever I want to do, I am ready to go any length and do anything to make sure I achieve that goal, no matter what it takes. As long as the idea is plausible, I don’t mind taking loans and working tirelessly to make sure that idea becomes a reality. One thing people don’t have is risk tolerance, they can’t tolerate risks, the slightest volatility that reduces the value of their asset, they are selling and going up. Bitcoin has changed a lot of people’s lives especially the early investors. Some people’s life time goal is financial freedom and financial independence, the early investors who held for over five years got their financial freedom and independence because the value of bitcoin skyrocketed really high. Some people must have taken loan to buy bitcoin and hold, although those people that held in a cold wallet got their financial freedom but those that held in Mt.Gox lost their bitcoin.

Fear of the unknown scares people from risking it to achieve their goal. They are always stuck in the doubt of “what if I fail?” “What if it doesn’t work?’. This has killed a lot of dreams and made a lot of people miss out on discovering and attaining their true potential. The life is a risk, the risk is the fun part but also the most scary part, if it works out as planned we celebrate, but if it fails, its okay to reflect and feel sad, dont give up, learn your lesson and try again, if you have risk tolerance.
