The price of solana recently just saw a 7% price increase because of its sponsorship of the Lollapalooza Music Festival. This is really great, because I have been having this in mind for a while now.
I’m a lover of music that make use of Spotify and Apple Music every month. I have never seen anyone in my life that hates music, most youths use a music streaming app in which they pay monthly subscription on every month. Now imagine a decentralized music platform where listeners pay for subscription with crypto. Although Crypto.com has made it possible to pay for your Spotify and Netflix subscription using the crypto.com Visa card. That’s really great but it still doesn’t give enough crypto awareness as it’s only crypto.com users that will use it. But if they make the payment option to be bitcoin, Ethereum, Hive or any other crypto, most people that don’t know much about crypto will do their research.
FTX has really been doing a lot with their mergers and acquisitions, I think it’s best they dive into the music industry also. Imagine FTX sponsoring the Grammys or the Coachella festival. Not just the Coachella, a lot of musical festivals, with lots of souvenirs having FTX on it. They can also partner with Spotify to enable their users pay in crypto. This will enable more people to take interest in crypto. Crypto is money, and most people like money, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand how to use money or crypto.
Solana really did a great job sponsoring the festival, once again, that was a great idea.
