¡Hola! Hoy por fin me atreví a participar en el Daily Drawing Challenge, el cual llevaba siguiendo desde hace aproximadamente un mes pero sentía que mis dibujos no estaban a la altura, y es que en realidad no soy para nada una artista (ya ustedes lo verán) pero a través del dibujo todos podemos expresarnos y creo que lo importante es disfrutarlo.
Hi! Today I finally dared to participate in the Daily Drawing Challenge, which I had been following for about a month but I felt that my drawings were not up to the task. I am not really an artist at all (you will see) but through drawing we can all express ourselves and I think the important thing is to enjoy it.
El tema para el día de hoy es “Sirena”. La sirena que dibujé está sentada en unas rocas viendo cómo el sol se oculta, básicamente una de mis actividades favoritas. Decidí no echarle color porque pensé que podría empeorar el resultado, así que utilicé el mismo lápiz HB para colorear.
The theme for today is "Mermaid". The mermaid I drew is sitting on some rocks watching the sun go down, basically one of my favorite activities. I decided not to color it because I thought it would make the result worse, so I use the same pencil HB for coloring.

Sé que no soy la mejor dibujante y que quedó bastante sencillo pero me sentí muy bien con el resultado porque es algo que jamás había intentado y durante el proceso pude hacer volar mi imaginación y concentrarme en ello y nada más. Fue algo que disfruté bastante y, como les digo, creo que de eso se trata.
I know I'm not the best drawer and that it was quite simple but I felt very good about the result because it's something I had never tried before and during the process I was able to let my imagination fly and concentrate on it and nothing else. It was something that I enjoyed quite a lot and, as I say before, I think that's what it's all about.
