So yeah, this book is totally crazy good and you should totally read it. The One by John Marrs presents a world in which a genetic test exists that can help you find your "one," your other half and your soul mate. This book follows a number of couples who find their Match. But this is not a love story. Mostly not a love story, even if it starts as one. The book is told from the P.O.V. of one person who decides to make contact with their Match. You will know immediately that this is not a love story when you'll read what one of these people is doing for fun. And that is just the first and not most crazy part of the book. The crazy twists just keep coming. It starts relevantly mellow and around the middle the book switches gears and becomes more fast paced with all of the crazy twists and turns. Love can heart and make people do crazy things, but this is something else.
Once you start reading this book you can't stop. The chapters are short. The plot moves forward quickly. The writing is compelling, neat and funny. It's hard to stop reading this book.
Please read the book before the series that is based on this book will hit Netflix, although I would like a second season so I can know what happened to these characters after the book. it is a closed ending, but also not a closed ending.
