My entry for the Phone Photography Contest - 76

Hello, dear friends, good afternoon...

Today I'm back here to join in the favorites contest hosted by @untilwelearn. In this entry, I'm featuring a flower that's very familiar to all of us, the starfruit flower. Here in my area, in the Aceh province of Indonesia, starfruit plants can be found in almost every community garden. The fruit of this plant can be used as a cooking spice. The ripe fruit is picked, dried in the sun, and a little salt is added. Once dry, it's called dried salted bilimbi.

Well, I won't dwell on that here. Instead, I just want to show you the beauty of this flower. Look at the beautiful, trumpet-shaped flower with five red petals adorned with white stamens and pale yellow anthers. This flower doesn't grow alone, it grows in clusters. Each stem contains more than five flowers.

At first glance, this flower looks ordinary, and it's very small. If it were a single flower on a single stem, it wouldn't be noticeable, it's so small. This flower only becomes extraordinary to the eye that pauses to observe it, like this beautiful moth. So I'm no longer alone here. While she's busy examining each flower, I immediately point the camera at her. She continues to relax, enjoying the nectar. Perhaps she's thinking, as I do, that someone else is enjoying this flower.
