A New Pub for a New Dog

After enjoying our new puppy “Sky” for a full week now, @ezzy and I decided to take her to the local pub for the first time! I think visiting the pub would give "Sky" some human interaction time which is quite important for her as dogs are naturally social animals. Plus, what could be better than enjoying our favourite pint at the pub with our four-legged friend by our side, lol!

Having said that, pubs sometimes could be busy and noisy for dogs. The local pub we selected was “The Island” which is just off the main road and has a large outdoor area. We picked a corner place to sit down where there were fewer people.

"Sky" seemed a little uneasy at first walking around on the leash but after a few minutes, I managed to make her sit down with my treats for training. We managed to stay there for approx. 15 minutes before "Sky" got bored and distracted so we had to head home.

I think this was pretty good for our first attempt taking "Sky" to the pub! I can’t wait for "Sky" to meet more new people and new environments in the next few weeks to come.
