This photo was taken by my brother-in-law 6 years ago in Boracay, Philippines. This is definitely one of my favorites. I had to brave my own fear of waves, just to show my little boy how to enjoy the water. Motherhood is about loving, and learning to let go of fears to embrace a life full of wonder with your child.
