Wow, this off-meta card pull came your way at just the perfect time to help me out! This last week I have been trying to tech a deck to play for Death. I have zero interest in running zombies and I wasn't very active when TotGs cards were getting the most play so to me all the Anubian stuff is quite fresh and felt way more interesting to work with.

My deck building skills are still...erm... let's say 'evolving' though and even after enough losses to be playing people who didn't have any card-based advantages over me I still couldn't get a good flow in my games that would allow me to keep the early leads I'd get and so by 6 or 7 mana I'd lose traction and most often end up conceding a few turns later to save my opponent the tedium of making cautious plays when I knew I had nothing left.

I still -really- wanted to play Anubian Death though so multiple times I read through what felt like all the cards I didn't have, searching for perhaps one I had overlooked or couldn't afford before the airdrop but could now.

But because I am so used to thinking of Legendary cards, particularly strong high mana ones, as -very- expensive cards and because I don't run anything over 6 mana in my main Nature deck atm I simply never scrolled down into the fancy 7 mana Legendary cards and so had until now been clueless this cool card existed -and- is super affordable!

I'm picking up a copy right after this and we will see how it, and all the other really good info from the rest of your post, changes my Anubian Death win rate! And no matter how that goes, I have plenty of good things to consider from your breakdowns of the specific cards here which will most certainly serve me well. Thanks much!
