My First LeoFinance Post

Hello, my name is Bob Caine and this is my first post in LeoFinance. Until I read about the current challenge going on at LF in ListNerds yesterday, I did not feel qualified to add a post here. I am still uncomfortable doing this post.

When I receive an email in ListNerds that takes me to LeoFinance post, I always read it. More often than not, the post is way above my crypto knowledge. I keep reading them so I can learn and cross my fingers that some of the wisdom offered is absorbed.

So I thought about what I was going to say in this post last night. I decided that the best I could do is offer my ultraconservative, simplistic approach to crypto "investing".

Two years ago, I believed that crypto was way too risky of an investment. There were 100's of different crypto tokens available most of which had no value. Cryptocurrencies have no backing and rely strictly on the belief of the internet market to support their value.

I was introduced to Steem by @jongolson on ClickTrackProfit. Steem provided a way I could accumulate crypto without risking any money. This was too tempting to resist. I started earning Steem by posting and commenting. Within a very few weeks, Jon suggested switching to the Hive. I followed his lead, left Steem, and joined the Hive. I had no idea what was going on between Steem and the Hive. I just followed the crowd and am glad I did.

I still have not invested any cash into cryptocurrency. I am now on a mission to make dolphin level on the Hive without buying a single token. I have converted other tokens into the Hive but I didn't buy those either. Here is my current status

I said I was going to tell you my strategy at the beginning of this post. Here it is.

This strategy is for those who are either very leery of crypto for whatever reason, like my wife or have no money to invest. It is very, very simple.

1. Join the Hive - this is the key to everything
2. Do everything you can to earn tokens - post, comment, video, play games
3. Stake all your tokens - you have nothing invested so you want to let it accumulate. It may go up.
4. Join ClickTrackProfit - another crypto with value
5. Go through the CTP training, especially crypto
6. Show up every day and participate.
7. Spend at least 15 minutes every day learning more about crypto

My strategy is not creative, it is very simple, it has no risk, and it keeps my wife from complaining.

I hope this gives some newbies the confidence to try crypto (at least the Hive).
