The dutch corner in the centre of Potsdam was built between 1733/34 under the guidance of the dutch Johann Boumann.

Planned was it by Friedrich Wilhelm I. also known as the king of the soldiers.

It's the biggest known dutch styled building complex outside of the Netherlands.

This style is also called brick expressionism.
