The thought that at one time was handled and still is handled about machismo is an element that continues in spite of dealing with the subject in different aspects...men consider that they should have two or even three families, in each family at least 4 children...there are countries where a man can have up to 7 wives and this also generates births of children in large numbers.

I was not aware that any one person can have multiple families and even seven legal wives. I had heard up to three wives are allowed in certain communities though! However, having too many children is the root cause of all the problems we're facing today!
