Hello, fellow Steemians! First things first, my name is Fernando, I'm 20 years old and I live in Venezuela. I don't think it's necessary for me to explain the situation in my country to you, a simple Google research will show you thousands of news articles about that. Things are rough, scarcity of medicine and food is still prevalent and the minimum wage income is killed by inflation, there's energy and water outtages (We had two while I was writing this, it is not seen much in the capital and surrounding areas, but it is terrible in other states) due to such a terrible situation I turned my eyes to cryptocurrency as a way to help my family's expenses, as well as saving up for my future.
I am a University student, currently waiting to start my fifth semester in my International Studies degree, and I'm currently considering emigrating and finish my studies abroad, in Madrid, Spain. Doing so is mighty expensive, and is the reason I haven't emigrated yet, therefore I take this as a first step into achieving my goals of higher, better education as well as better quality of life. Saving money to carry on all the legal procedures and well as having a way to help ease my parent's expenses are my main goals here.
I think that's enough about my goals. I learned English by myself and I enjoy reading, writing and speaking it a lot, which is why you will see most if not all my content here being published in English. I like books, games and movies, so you can expect some reviews if I'm feeling confident about it, as well as some analysis to my favourite games. I also try my hand at writing fiction, and I will be posting fragments and full stories once I translate the ones I originally wrote in Spanish. You can also expect the odd opinion article or pictures of my book collection. All in all I hope you enjoy my content and I hope I get to enjoy this community together with all of you.
