Hey @grapthar ! Apologies for returning back to you so so late.... Upon seeing this reply, I went to ask some folks in the Splinterlands community! My goodness, where can I start?

There are so many things, this is a game that I really love so there are plenty. Do feel free to filter though.

First of all, Splinterlands is amazing not because of just the gameplay, but also the community in PeakD and Hive. So I guess what would be good is a brief orientation too, across some really important websites such as Hive, and a couple of really good accounts such as @splinterlands as well as useful tips like the curation of their weekly upvotes (twice a week).

Now for starters, new to game, I guess the first thing in their mind is how to progress the game! So things like how to earn chest, how they calculate FP, as well as quick ways to bring them to earn FP during battles would help. I asked a couple of people in the community and they were wondering how to quickly earn chest, which directly translates how to maximise FP. I guess what would be helpful is perhaps even charity accounts that loans cards (if there are any), so that they will remain motivated and stay in the game. I do know of some whereby the moment they bought the spellbook, they gave up cause they are earning 1 FP per match.

Not just on primary gameplay, we are also having Events, Guilds, Card Packs, Merits, which I feel are the basics to be mastered in order to foster a closer community and stickiness to the game. Especially the guilds! Many whom I interviewed who stayed in the game is largely due to their guilds. A helpful guild fosters closeness within themselves, and at the same time vice versa a horrible guild really just spoils the entire experience.

Sorry I might be typing too much! If you want more, I will be glad to! I really love Splinterlands and I think @splinterlands is doing a darn good job! So yea! I still have a couple of pointers that I managed to get from the community that I have yet to share!
