Happy Birthday!

Alright, so it is my loved ones birthday tomorrow, and this topic really got me thinking. Just who, started the tradition of singing a birthday song?

And this actually reminded me of an instagram video in the past. Something about a past legend.

Now, the birthday song that we hear are always happy and associated with fun and laughter, party and all. I mean, it is once a year, your date of birth, surely it must be something worth celebrating right?

Then, there is an alternate theory. Though I do not buy it, but hey! It sure definitely brought in a fresh new perspective. You know, it is like those songs the moment you hear, you can never ever un-hear it. Yea, you got it. This legend is one of them

Now the legend goes, during a birthday, candles are lit, lights are off, and that everyone gets into a circle. This seems fine, but then it is claimed as, isn't it just the perfect setting for witch craft? The legend says that this is a work of fallen angels, inflicting a curse. So basically, in the past people live till hundreds. And this curse is basically just a way to make us grow older, so as to control the population. Haha. Well, I don't buy it, but it sure is still a good and interesting perception
