Splinterlands: Trying out another Thalgrimore combo vs WEATHERLOVE
Today I played a ranked game against WEATHERLOVE. We had a mana cap of 39 and all elements were available. We also had the Four's a Crowd modifier which meant we could only play up to 4 cards each.

My Cards
Summoner: Thalgrimore
1st: Nim Guard Captain
2nd: Sorrow Harvester
3rd: Vengeful Monk
4th: Great Bear Druid
I decided to play the Great Bear Druid instead of Spellmonger for this game. I really wanted to try out a new combo with Thalgrimore.
I used the Nim Guard Captain in the first slot, then swapped around my other cards. I put the Sorrow Harvester in second place, Vengeful Monk in third and the Great Bear Druid in fourth.
As we had a mana cap of 39 we had plenty of space to try out this combo. However I couldn’t play more than 4 cards so I wanted to get the right cards in.
Battle
I was up against WEATHERLOVE again. I wanted to see how my new combo worked. The enemy had a different set of cards.
The great thing about this game was I didn’t have to use up all the mana that was available. I was more interested in seeing how the cards would work together.
I got my 4 cards to do the job and won the game. Also the Great Bear Druid was a new card in my combo which made it interesting.
I got +20 rating from this game. My rating is now 940 and I’m still in Division 8. I got 106 Glint from this.
Another win using Thalgrimore! I love trying out new combos with my cards and I have many more combos to try out.
Looking into the future
I am now on 940 rating and getting closer to moving up a division. I want to continue to try out Thalgrimore and see what other cards I can add. Maybe I can find another combo that works even better.
I’m happy with another win and getting extra Glint. Let’s see what happens in my next ranked game!
