Splinterlands: Recovering from a loss with another win against WEATHERLOVE
Today I played another ranked game against WEATHERLOVE. We had a mana cap of 60 and all elements available. Playing with Standard ruleset.
I lost my last game which caused my rating to drop so I was looking to get another win.

Elements Available: Fire, Water, Earth, Life, Death & Dragon.
Modifier: Standard (Playing with no changes to the ruleset)
My Cards
Summoner: Marlai Singariel
1st: Port Guardian
2nd: Vengeful Monk
3rd: Great Bear Druid
4th: Saltwater Mage
5th: Ratbound Corsair
6th: Frostguard Warrior
I have decided to play with Marlai Singariel as my summoner. With a mana cap of 60 I have enough mana to pick a few cards.
I have chosen Port Guardian as my first card, then Vengeful Monk. I have also chosen Great Bear Druid, Saltwater Mage, Ratbound Corsair & Frostguard Warrior.
I want to try out these cards together and see how they perform against the enemy. As I have already lost once it was important that I got a win.
Battle
I was facing off against WEATHERLOVE again. They had a new team this time. We both had a lot of mana to choose our cards as we had 60 mana.
I was interested to see how my cards would perform. I had 6 cards so wanted to see if they could perform well.
The game began and my cards performed well. I was glad to see my team could beat the enemy cards and I had another win!
I gained +20 rating from this game. My rating is now at 860 and I am still in Division 8. I also gained 99 Glint from this game.
Another win against WEATHERLOVE! As I lost my last game I was glad to gain points back. I still need to climb but I am going back in the right direction.
Looking into the Future
My rating is now at 860 and I want to continue climbing. Even though I lost my last game I don’t want to stop playing.
I will continue to experiment with different cards and see what teams work best for me. Hopefully I can gain more wins in my next ranked games and climb to another division.
Overall I am happy with this win and gaining Glint. Let’s see how I do next!
