Hey! So today I played another ranked game. I played in Modern Ranked Bracket I against TESHAV. There was a 54 mana cap so that meant I had the option to choose multiple cards for my team. In this battle I received an interesting modifier called Born Again. I chose to play my team with Thagrimore as my Summoner and I made the right choice as I won!

Elements Used: Fire, Water, Earth, Life, Death, Dragon
Modifier: Born Again - All units get the effect Rebirth (Units can once during battle. They will have 1 HP, all of their armour and any negative magic effects will be cleared. Any positive magic effects will be re-applied. They will skip their turn.)

I played this battle with Thagrimore as my Summoner. There was a high amount of mana cap (54) so I had the option to pick 6 cards. I wanted to pick some good combos to help me win.
Starting with Nim Guard Captain then Sorrow Harvester. Then I used Vengeful Monk and Great Bear Druid. Finally adding Lenore Nevermore and Black Widow.
I was excited to see how my deck performed.
Battle
I played against TESHAV. They had a different team with some really good cards. I knew that this would be an interesting battle. The battle lasted 19 turns.
There was an interesting modifier in this battle as it was Born Again. This meant that every card could come back once after being killed. This made it more challenging as killing a card wouldn’t be enough. Both teams had to overcome this issue.
I was glad that I picked Thagrimore as my Summoner. I had a lot of variety with having 6 cards in my deck. Starting with Nim Guard Captain, then Sorrow Harvester and Vengeful Monk. I also had Great Bear Druid and Lenore Nevermore helping my team and Black Widow.
My team were able to fight throughout the long battle. Despite the Born Again modifier causing cards to come back, I was able to beat TESHAV’s team. I was pleased with my card choices and managed another victory!
I gained +40 Rating from this battle. So my rating is now 880. I am still in division 8 but it was nice to gain some rating.
I also gained 105 Glint. Always nice to gain some Glint.
Overall I had a great battle. It wasn’t a quick battle but I was able to beat TESHAV after 19 turns. I was pleased with my team and hopefully I can continue to gain more wins.
Looking into the future
I currently have 880 Rating. I want to improve from being in division 8. I have more battles to play and will try to gain more rating.
I would also like to try some new combos. It’s sometimes fun to mix up your cards and see how they perform. My team performed well in this match and hopefully I can continue to gain more wins.
