A Closest Death Match With My Death Team in Splinterlands
Hey guys what's up? Welcome back to another Splinterlands battle. As you can see I'm playing my Death team again in Modern ranked with a 30 mana cap. My enemy was ENELYN and it was a very challenging match. We both fought hard and in the end decided the outcome with the last card. Let's take a look at the game.
Match Details
Mana Cap: 30
Elements: fire, water, earth, life, death, dragon
Rules: Standard
Modifier: None
My Lineup:
Summoner
Thalgrimore
First position: Nim Guard Captain
Secind position: Sorrow Harvester
Third position: Vengeful Monk
As you can see I decided to play these three cards for the battle. Since the mana cap was 30 I had to make a smart decision and choose the best possible deck that will be able to withstand the attacks from the enemy. As my first move I summoned Nim Guard Captain and put the rest of my cards behind him. I hoped that the selected deck would be strong enough to resist the enemy.
The battle started and both teams launched their attacks. Since I was playing with a deck that had only 30 mana, I had to see how my cards would resist the enemy. I used Thalgrimore as my summoner and crossed my fingers that my strategy would work.
As you can see both teams started to lose their cards and at one point, there was only one card left on each side. It was unclear who would be the winner at that point because if my last card got destroyed, I would have lost the battle. At the same time the enemy had the opportunity to win as his final card resisted my attack.
Honestly, this is one of the most thrilling moments when you can't tell who would win the battle in the end. That's why I kept track of the game and at the end my team managed to pull it off. It was a close battle but I'm glad that my Death team came out as the victor.
After the match I gained +40 rating points and 82 Glint. My overall rating is now 340. I'm satisfied with the rewards but winning the match was even more exciting for me.
Looking into the future
In the future, I will continue to play my best decks and improve my skills with the game. Not every battle will be as easy as this one and sometimes you have to rely on your skills to see you through to the end. From this match I've learned that I shouldn't be afraid of a challenge and always give my best until the end. Let's see what the next match has in store for me.
