I basically read A LOT in the last couple of days to get a feeling what content people are sharing on this platform and what generates income. I didn't see a correlation between a topic to write about and the money the post generates. In simpler words it apparently doesn't matter about what you write as long as it's interesting.

On the other hand I couldn't wrap my head around the problems this community faces and the shitstorm or flagwar that is going on between the dark side and the "good guys"

cookies in this case means their game that they play on steemit (the way of handling this platform and the infrastructure built around it) is more focused on the earning money part. That's not forbidden and is in my opinion tolerable... I guess
if the possible damage they can do is not out of proportion which it kind of seems.

I have no Idea about the long lasting damage this vote-whores are gonna inflict on the community but a lot of people seem angry about the wankers that generate income through selfvoting

Good damn I have no Idea if my abuse of the english language is as big as I imagine.

Anyway

After I followed this Flagwar and shouting Wolf that is going on here for some time apparently, between some dolphin/whales that want to play social justice warrior, I finally came to the conclusion that they look at the current situation in a white and black manner.

of course there are issues that deserve a better solution

"There's a lot of discussions about rewards pool abuse, unequal distribution based on content quality, and scammers manipulating the system with bot armies and thousands of fake accounts. It's all certainly a concern which deserves much of our attention if we want to improve Steemit, the social media site, and the claims it makes about being rewarded for your words." lukestokes@lukestokes

Someone said it's the wild west out here and everybody has the right to play his own game. certainly. The game of bandits and cowboys with some self proclaimed sherifs like that shitty overused grumpycat shit meme that I encountered too much because that guy just can't keep it in his pants. In other words his scam has the intention of proclaiming to be a good guy while doing some annoying things himself. A fake social jsutice warrior which bothers me apparently. So many good guys with good intentions that do not rely on spaming and inventing stupid stickers to proclaim the moral highground.

I believe that Steemit is still a nasty brat that discovered that the speed limit in Germany is more like a suggestion rather than a rule.
And sometimes the rule gets abandoned all together in certain areas. As if all hell broke loose when there is no regulation from BigBrother. (well guess what - it doesn't. These germans are used to driving motorway and have a understanding of simple human reason and adequate behavior when lifes are at stake)

I have no idea how this post ended up as a rant I had such good intentions in mind...

I mean the platform itself is a lovely Idea

Steem is freaking awesome

Now let me finish with some questions

What do you think about those that use the rules of the game to gather a lot of money for themselves.

would you ban bots if you could

greetings
