AMERICAN WESTERN SKULLS
Well over the past 6 months I have really srarred getting into silver round series. One that has really gotten ky attention is the American Western Skulls. This is a 5 coin series that is produceed by the Osborne Mint Company. They released the 1st coin in the series in 2017 it is titled "Indian Chief"
Now the 1 oz rounds have a low mintage of 2,000. Comes in a 1 oz proof, 1 oz antiqued and a 1 oz colored. Now for me the 5 oz was my pick, it has a mintage of only 500, which is crazy low if you think about it. I also decided to go with the 5 oz antiqued, to me it shows off the detail.
Now the 1st release for 2018 is the "Sheriff ". This one is the 2nd release in the series. Each coin comes with a numbered COA. I got this in a 5 oz antiqued as well.
The Osborne Mint was very quick to release the 3rd coin in this series. It is titled "Gunslinger". The guns are positioned on the coin to represent cross bones. Again I went with the 5 oz antiqued. Look at the detail in the hat and the cigarette.
Fast forward to April 16th and here is where we are. Now they have released the 4 in series but only in 1oz proof as of today. It is tittled "Indian Brave". This one will probanly end up being my favorite in the series. They did some cool stuff to the eyes.
The Indian Brave will look really good in the 5 oz antiqued. Now each one in this series carries the FRIED EAGLE on the reverse of the coin.
Hopefully the 5 oz will be out this week and I can place my order. Jm Bullion seems to have gotten some low numbers on each one of these. My first 3 are all below 100. So I will be ordering the Indian Brave from Jm Bullion.
What series are you currently working on?
Thanks for stopping by, if you like this series, act fast for the mintage of 500 will run out quick.
