Sundays seem to be a bad day around the Brockman compound. Today I awoke covered in sweat!
I wasn't sure what was going on, I attempted to get out of the bed, once I tried it was like my knees had given out and I immediately hit the floor. I hollered for help just laying there. No one came to see what was going on. Then I remembered that Lisa was going to early Mass this morning, so it was just me. After a few minutes I was able to get my hands dried off and get myself up off of the floor.
So I made my way to the shower, thinking that a cold shower would stop the sweat. I stayed in the shower for about 10 to 15 minutes just leaned up on the shower wall. This point I was starting to see spots and was really starting to worried. Knowing that my wife turns her cell phone off when she is in church. I begin to think that I was going to have to call an ambulance just to get to the hospital.
I was able to get myself dressed, grabbed my wallet, pocket silver and cell phone. Called 911 and an ambulance was on its way.
Befor the Ambulance got to my house my symptons had eased up and the sweating had stopped. I was able to walk around with out any falling. So I canceled the Ambulance, I wanted to give myself an hour or so and see how I felt.
So I decided to clean my mess up a little bit and forsure the sheets needed to be changed. So I pulled the pillows off of the bed, then I noticed that my 2oz of silver that has to stay under my pillow where missing. Then It all started to make sense to me. See a few months back on my last Dr. Visit, I had some test that came back bad. My stackitis had progressed to stage three. Now most people who have Stackitis do not have stage three. Stage three requires you to have silver on you or near you at all times. Seeing as how someone removed my 2 oz from under my pillow, I was suffering from a severe stage 3 stackitis attack. Once I put my pocket silver in my jeans the symptoms went away.
This was a close call, this could have ended a lot worse. Fortunately I am very well equipped to handle all types of stackitis attacks. Plus I go to the Doctors regularly and understand my disease.
Please, if you have Stackitis go to the Doctors on a regularly. Stackitis can progress very quickly.
This has been a public announcement brought to you by the Victims of Stackitis.
