Upsets me that America even has bases in Syria, unauthorized by anyone, uninvited by the Syrian Government. I’m sure they there under the pretense of fighting ISIS but there is probably more to the story than just ISIS. US involvement in Syria is illegal, and Syria does have the right to defend itself. If Russia went into South Texas under the pretense of protecting Mexican migrant children from the US border control, we would have 100 million armed men on their way down to fight. But when America invaded Eastern Syria, there is suppose to be some moral high ground? I think the moral high ground has been lost a long long time ago. While I don’t advocate for violence, the United States needs to pull out, or all I can see is violence.
