The colors of roots, flowers and plants....infused/decocted into a carrier oil. We ...
... used organic MCT oil. This is the third image post in a row on this topic and a follow up to the last post we showed of the extraction process. After infusion we then strain through a cheese cloth and store the infused oils in large mason jars..for later use in making body products. The colors blow my mind! For example, on the far left is cayenne, then rose, comfrey is the deep green, then piñon pine resin and last jar is turmeric root on the far right. All were home grown or wild harvested. These are just a few of the oils we are working with to create lotions, balms, face moisturizers and other topicals for the body. Calendula flowers and spearmint will be our next infusions as the plants are almost ready in the garden for harvest. Growing plants is fun but being able to then use their chemical compounds for further use in topical body applications is just PURE JOY! Have fun growing and processing your own plants and turn them into useful products for the home! This is my passion and I LOVE sharing it so thanks for tuning in and for all the kind support! Have a gorgeous day Appics community and Steem Blockchain! -Jake and the Raw Utah family
