I hear people complain about a lack of devs but I know several devs who are on the blockchain already. People with rotten carrots are often quick to blame the horse. It has to do with the centralization problems and perverse incentive structure. I remember some time ago even some of the other deva who have recognition and are doing work on chain were complaining almost all the HDF was being allocated to smooth. People should look into more aspects instead of just manpower. The churn rate is already bad enough with general users, if you cycle devs out like that you end up with spaghetti and then lasagna code. Sounds delicious until you actually look into what the consequences of that is. Maybe they should consider different nomenclature for that.
