On the road south to West Branson. Train heads North. :) Always wanted to catch this iconic photo moment of a train.
Northbound Train
We sat across on the northbound train
Left out of Chicago in a blurry rain
New York bound, nineteen hours to go
As I watched from my chair, she said a no-no
I must have had quite a look on my face
She had a small smile, just really a trace
She said she was sorry, was having a day
I laughed a little, told her it was ok
She looked older than me, by just a bit
Long flowing hair, by window sunlit
Cute button nose, I wanted to kiss
But I hardly knew her, this lovely young miss
So I offered an ear, she could tell me her tale
She jumped at the chance, my advice did avail
Her tale was the same, as many are burned
She loved him dearly, her love unreturned
So here she was now, heading home to Westchester
To spend just a while, then back next semester
Night time had fallen and so had my heart
I held her hand, well it was a start
